As a Lead you will report to the Head of Creative and will be provided with oversight guidance.  You are responsible for leading the Concept, Storyboarding, Look Development, Composition and Editing teams and have a number of direct reports.  The role has key relationships across all teams of Insert Coin and key representational client relationships.  You will be directly involved in setting plans for your team, communicating effectively with your direct reports and your Head, and the effective use of the Alcanzar framework.  As requested by your Head you will be involved in recruitment of team members and assisting in the development of job descriptions within your team.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Deciding how the characters, props and environments look and providing basis for the rest of the creative team to work from
• Determining the design ‘language’
• Working with the concept artists to develop sketches and artwork that communicate the artistic vision to the rest of the team
• Collaborating with the Head of Creative and Head of Production to discuss creative ambitions and producibility for each episode
• Developing and communicating a clear design vision (including Characters, Locations, Props, Backgrounds, FX, Lighting, and Color) that support the overall creative vision for the story and style of the project

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Establishing the visual style by working within genre, geography and mood to help establish the “world” of the production and ensuring the style filters remain consistent to maintain seamless aesthetic of the production
• Establishing and documenting format procedures and guidelines 
• Building worlds and characters by creating the colour, textures, and materials for everything you see in the final rendered images
• Directing and creating mood boards, colour schemes and lighting plans as references for Animation Team 
• Directing and creating textures, shading, special effects, contours etc to all assets including developing differting conditions of textures including reaction to elements such as water/light/wind/fire and skin textures to convey emotion
• Ensuring all textures are believable and work well on screen including responsibility for testing textures

As a Senior you will report to one of our Leads and will be provided with oversight supervision and may lead a team of up to 5 direct reports.  The role has key relationships within the CG, Creative and Production teams and limited client relationships. 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Consistently create outstanding lighting consistent with the required deadlines, IC pipeline and in the style and vision as laid out by the Head of Creative
• Actively participating in improving workflows, optimisations and best practice 
• Lighting key/hero shots based on references and/or notes
• Consistently creating effective and efficient lighting rigs to maximise render performance

If you are someone who  has at least two years of animation industry experience and considers themself an “all rounder” with broad knowledge of the entire 3D Animation pipeline and in depth knowledge of the CG asset creation pipeline , then this MId CG Generalist position is the role for you.

As a Mid, you will report to one of our Seniors or Leads and will be provided with regular supervision and allocation of tasks.  The role has key relationships within the Creative, CG and Production teams and no external client relationships.  Our Mid’s usually spend up to 3 years in the role before they are considered for promotion to a Senior Position.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

If you are someone who has studied animation, is interested in being an “all rounder” throughout the 3D animation pipeline  using a variety of animation software programs under guidance and supervision and looking for your first role in the animation industry, then this Apprentice CG Generalist position is the role for you.

As an Apprentice, you will be assigned to one of our Leads, who will provide you with on the job training, daily supervision and allocation of tasks.  You will have key relationships with the Creative, CG and Production Teams and no external client relationships.  Our Apprentices usually spend 6 months or so in the role before they “graduate” to a junior position.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Providing CG assistance and support in multiple teams as directed by Head of CG
