As a Lead you will report to the Head of Creative and will be provided with oversight guidance. You are responsible for leading all Animation teams and have a number of direct reports. The role has key relationships across all teams of Insert Coin and key representational client relationships. You will be directly involved in setting plans for your team, communicating effectively with your direct reports and your Head, and the effective use of the Alcanzar framework. As requested by your Head you will be involved in recruitment of team members and assisting in the development of job descriptions within your team.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Supervising, managing and inspiring the Animation Team
- Directing and and maintaining the continuity of performance of all characters, objects and environments
- Working in partnership with the Head of CG and Head of Creative to interpret and develop directors creative vision for the performance
- Conducting animation dailies ensuring animation quality control and ensuring animation consistency
- Interpreting Head of Creative and/or Director’s needs and providing constructive feedback to Animation team
- Working in partnership with Production to correctly cast shots to animators and ensure continuity of performance while meeting all schedules and highest standards
- Responsible for clear lines of communication between, animation team, other departments and production.
- Implementing the specific animation pipeline requirements of each project
- In conjunction with the Head of CG, testing and deploying tools in a high pressure production environment.
- Documenting and disseminating all workflows and performance references to the animation team to ensure consistency
- Ensure animation team meet deadlines as provided by Head of Production
- Establishing clear goals for allocated apprentices and direct reports

You will be directly involved in setting plans for your team, communicating effectively with your direct reports and your Head, and the effective use of the Alcanzar framework. As requested by your Head you will be involved in recruitment of team members and assisting in the development of job descriptions within your team.

- Deciding how the characters, props and environments look and providing basis for the rest of the creative team to work from

As a Senior you will report to one of our Leads and will be provided with oversight supervision and will lead a team of up to 5 direct reports. The role has key relationships within the Creative, CG and Production teams and limited client relationships.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Ensuring you and your compositing team consistently create outstanding final images of a frame, shot or sequence by combining different digital elements (like the animations, background plates, graphics and special effects ) to create a believable pictures
- Ensuring outstanding compositing of images and shots
- Enhancing lighting, creating convincing shadows and adding motion blur where required

The role has key relationships within the Creative and CG teams and no external client relationships. Our Mid’s usually spend up to 3 years in the role before they are considered for promotion to a Senior Position.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Developing and testing scripts/tools, custom features and add-ons to automate repetitive tasks across a range of teams
- Collaborate with team leads to prioritise the scripts/tools to be created
- Troubleshoot technical problems as directed by Head of CG
- Provide pipeline technical support
- Use analytics to monitor workflow and suggest scripts/tools to streamline operations to Head of CG

As a Senior you will report to one of our Leads and will be provided with oversight supervision and may lead a team of up to 5 direct reports. The role has key relationships within the CG, Creative and Production teams and limited client relationships.

- Consistently create outstanding lighting consistent with the required deadlines, IC pipeline and in the style and vision as laid out by the Head of Creative

As an Apprentice, you will be assigned to one of our Leads, who will provide you with on the job training, daily supervision and allocation of tasks. You will have key relationships with the Creative, CG and Production Teams and no external client relationships. Our Apprentices usually spend 6 months or so in the role before they “graduate” to a junior position.
